Student Complaints Procedure:

In order to facilitate proper and faster processing, a Student Grievance Form must be filled by the aggrieved student to accompany the filed complaint in the Student Complaints Procedure.

For Feedback on ideas and suggestions of improvement, as well as general complaints, anyone may fill and send to us the Feedback Form. Please note that for Student Grievances, students should use the Student Grievance Form to address their grievances.

Our Capacity
We have 6 well equipped classrooms, 2 tutorial rooms and a library within our facility at 12 Prince Edward Road, #02-08 Podium B, Bestway Building, Singapore 079212 to accommodate upto 240 students and have access to additional classrooms and an auditorium.

Quality Assurance
The regulatory framework focuses on building trustworthiness, professionalism, as well as business and academic excellence. It has two tiers — first, an essential or mandatory tier, which requires Private Schools to ensure high quality student welfare practices and standards. Second, a voluntary tier, tied to privileges, is focused on enhancing business and academic excellence.

We have the following mechanisms in place:

A. Clear Fee Policies

Clearly articulated and documented policies on course fees and fee refund. These must be fully disclosed to the student and adhered to according to the terms and conditions of the contract between the PEI and the student.

B. Well-Defined Student Redress Practices and Systems

A student-redress system with proper and clearly defined dispute resolution mechanisms for the student and the PEI. This will include mediation by CPE.

A Fee Protection Scheme (see below) to protect the students’ tuition fees in the event the PEI being unable to continue operations for adverse situations such as insolvency and regulatory closure of the PEI.

C. Disclosure of the PEI’s Commitment to Quality

A self-declaration by the Chief Executive Officer of the PEI clearing spelling out quality criteria such as the
school’s student-teacher ratio, the course fees, refund and redress policies, the size and number of the classrooms in the PEI, the number of full-time teachers/lecturers and other relevant information that will be of interest to all students.
This information will be made easily available for all (e.g. In the PEI’s website/Notice Board).

D. Well-Trained Personnel

PEIs must ensure that it has strong academic and administrative staff who are capable of delivering quality educational programmes as well as providing excellent student services.

What is ESCROW?
An Escrow is a form of account held by the third party into which tuition fee is deposited and held in custody by the third party, until specified conditions for its release have been met.

A. Why does the School need a Student Tuition Fee Account (Escrow)?
The Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) serves to protect the student’s fees in the event a Private Education
Institute (PEI) is unable to continue operations due to insolvency, &/or regulatory closure. Furthermore it protects the student if the PEI fails to pay penalties or return fees to the student arising from judgments made against it by Singapore Courts.

B. What types of fees will need to be paid to the Student Tuition Fee Account (Escrow)?
Only the tuition fees have to be paid into the Student Tuition Fee Account (Escrow). Tuition fees means the gross payment (before any commission may be deducted) relating to all costs of a course paid by an international student.

Other fees such as accommodation expenses, examination fees and administrative fees do not have to be paid into the Student Tuition Fee Account (Escrow).

How does ESCROW work?
